GET YOUR CRAFT ON!

I am in awe of this decoupage tutorial over at Tatertots and Jello.

Now, I've heard some buzz in the blog world about how decoupage can be a little tricky.  Do I dare try it? That's still up for debate.  What a pretty alternative to the regular 'ol plastic eggs that end up in the landfill!  Plus, you can use your scraps of fabric or scrapbook paper and get the kids involved too!  It's on our "to do for the bunny" list this weekend.

I also love this Spring Ruffle Necklace tutorial - look at how great this looks with a simple white t-shirt!
Finally, I'm really digging these fabric covered pots that I've found over at Creative Comforts and again at Good Gravy
Yes indeed, it's most certainly time for me to get my CRAFT ON!
I'll post pictures of my creations (or flops) soon!

  3. The flowered pots featured above are so much nicer looking that the ones I put together! A ModPodge nightmare for me! :)

  4. I was so surprised to see my project pop up! You are so sweet!

You really should try decoupaging-- it is very fun! Just go into it expected to get messy and that your projects are going to have some wrinkles and imperfections - I think it makes them more beautiful!
