"Why would you take someone under 2 to Disney?"

Some people thought we were nuts:
"Why would you take someone under 2 to Disney?"

Ok, so I'll admit I also thought we might be crazy after our less than perfect airplane trip to Orlando.  At that point, we realized that Sydney might not particularly enjoy flying (ok, the whole plane might have realized that).  We were red faced, super stressed and sweaty when we got off the plane...But, once we boarded our little "Magical Express" bus to take us to our hotel, it was wonderful! Cheesy, I know but this place is full of magic. The girls did a terrific job and there were very few breakdowns - they slept so well (complete exhaustion blissfully happy) and were troupers during our week away.  We were lucky enough to stay close to the Magic Kingdom and could walk back and forth to the park if the girls had enough.  Lots of time was spent at the visiting Mickey and Minnie (just stay clear of that Snow White ride, they don't call it Snow White's Scary Adventures for nothing) but plenty of time also was spent playing, splashing and enjoying the beautiful weather (we were lucky enough to avoid even one drop of rain!)  The trip was a big surprise and the perfect way to celebrate Riley's 6th birthday.  So much fun that we just might have to go next year - that is, if we could walk because I'm not sure if Delta would let us back on a plane!

Entering this for a chance to win a weekend getaway to the most fantastic place on earth!  Check it out here!

  11. When my oldest son turned one my mom wanted to celebrate it at Disney. It wasnt the greatest idea because he doesnt remember it at all but it was still fun and we have great pictures from that trip. We also went when my youngest was almost two...so we had a one year old and a three year old. That was a little bit more challenging. We are taking off for Disney this coming Thursday and the boys will be five and three. I think this is going to be our best trip yet!
