The big 2

It's been a while since I posted about our busy Summer!

A couple of weeks ago, we celebrated Sydney's 2nd birthday with a "Pink Peony Party."  It was fancy, fun and very PINK!  I was sad to hear at our Farmer's Market that peonys had passed because of the early Spring here in the Northeast but I managed to score a few.  For the rest, I made my own pom-pom peonies (say that 3 times fast) from variations of pink tissue paper.  It was much easier and cheaper than I expected!  Good Gravy made my baby doll cupcake toppers and I created my own birthday banner for the special birthday girl.  She had a great day.  Pardon the cliche but they grow up SO fast, hard to believe she's already 2!  Check out some of the pics here and have a great Tuesday!

  2. Your pom-poms turned out so much better than mine! Love 'em! And the whole party room...so great (btw, love your lemonade walls). But seriously, can we talk about those cookies? You're killing me with cuteness.
