Long overdue

Riley sob graduated from kindergarten on June 22nd.  It was bittersweet.  We're so proud of her very first year of school but a little weepy to see her growing so quickly.  The school year has a funny way of putting time into perspective (as does my photographic chronicling of every single school event).

For the end of the year teacher gifts, Riley decided to give her teachers a bouquet of sunflowers, Ms Macdonald's favorite.  We also included this classroom sign from Good Gravy, our favorite paper goods shop.

Congrats to our little Riley, who is about to be our FIRST grader!

  1. Very cute poster. Congrats on being a mom of a 1st grader. It is such a bittersweet feeling. My oldest will be a 2nd grader next year and our middle child will be going to pre-K. Exciting for them, bittersweet for Mommy and Daddy.
