Part two of my "Back in Time" series focuses on some of the rather interesting articles, recipes and ads that I found when peeking through some oldies but goodies of the magazine variety.
Apparently in the '50s, child labor was something that we strived for..
Isn't it nice that back in the day men fit neatly into one of these four categories: Outdoor Man, Intellectual Type, Music Lover or Muscle Man
I have enough trouble getting my kids to eat, never mind serving them Ham Nuggets in Raisin Sauce!

There is NOTHING about Ham Nuggets in Raisin Sauce that sounds appealing...gross!

I'd like to floss my teeth with bacon dental floss after munching on ham nuggets in raisin sauce. And, can we talk about the author of the first photo's article? HORTENSE FLEXNER?
