The big 3!

We celebrated Sydney's 3rd birthday with a Pink & Yellow Princess party.  Our family enjoyed a rainy Saturday afternoon party by celebrating.  We had assorted sandwiches, fruit salad, pasta salad. fresh salsa and tortilla chips.  I also made chocolate cake pops for the first time along with white chocolate castle pops.  I didn't get photos of the sweet favors but was assured they were a hit.
The Castle Cake, by My Friend's Bakery was Lemon with strawberries and whipped cream, topped with buttercream frosting.  It was perfect and very tastey!  Lara was wonderful and worked with me to create something extra special.
We had yellow and pink wildflowers throughout the house, thanks to a sweet deal I scored at our Farmer's Market!  Know your local farmers - it pays off!  We had daisies, sweet william and sunflowers.
We decorated with pink and yellow ribbon and the silver star garland added a little "fairy dust"
The birthday girl got an assortement of art supplies, including stickers, finger paint and stickers.  She also got her very own Cinderella dress and crown!
I blew up some of the pictures from our recent trip to Disney and decorated with photos of Sydney and her favorite princesses.
The littler guests took home butterfly fairy wands and Princess sticker books and our little "prince" took home a Barefoot Book and activity book
The "big" present?  Her very own slide, which gives us hours of fun in the backyard!
It was a great day!  We had fun planning her party and celebrating!
