Appeciate each and every day!

About a year ago, I talked about Family "BOND"ing Time (here), a blog that was started by Elisa, who started it when her beautiful baby Sadie was born.  Like so many of us, the blog started in an effort to share photos and updates about their family.  The early days of their blog are filled with pictures of the most beautiful, sweet family.  Successful, young...they look to have it all in late 2009.

Fast forward to February 14, 2010 when Nathan, only 38 gets diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and only days later, Elisa gets diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer.  And yes, they still have a beautiful little lady at home that they love more than anything.

I read their blog and remind myself that these two are fighters - and winners, battling their diseases with severe determination.  Elisa and Nathan write with brutal honesty.  It's tough to read at times, but hilarious at others and their continued zest for life, one another and their daughter is the fuel that makes them fight even harder.  The wonderful news they received this past December about Elisa's cancer was miraculous and wonderful, you can read about it more here.

This lovely video reflects what an absolutely beautiful family this is - candid and real.
Keep them in your prayers, support them and be sure to remember their attitude in the face of real problems.  They still have smiles on their faces, their love truly shows through.

Just keep your tissues handy, you're gonna need them.
