Easy Bowtie Tutorial

I make a lot of headbands, flowers and accessories for the girls in our life.  Recently, a friend asked me to make a coordinating item to include with her headband order for a couple little gentlemen that were attending her daughter's birthday party.  I soon discovered that this little bowtie was not only adorable but super easy to make and gift!  So, grab yourself a piece of felt and let's go!

Items needed -
Felt
Hot Glue and Glue Gun
Clip and/or paper clip

I started by cutting one larger rectangle piece of felt.  It was roughly 5 inches long and 4 inches across.  Then I cut out a smaller rectangle, roughly 2.5 inches across and 1.5 inches wide.

Scrunch the felt into a bow shape and hot glue the folds so that they stay in the shape of a bow.  Flip it over and repeat on the back.

Then, simply take the other piece of felt and starting from the back, start hot gluing the felt all the way around the bowtie, ending in the back again.

Slide a felt covered clip through the back of the bow for easy attachment!

Now, get your fancy pants on!
