Kashi Soft-Baked Squares Feature and a Giveaway!

As a busy mother, I often try to make my own snacks and treats for my kids.  I have the best intentions but it doesn't always work out the way I had hoped.  For example, last week, I decided to make some granola bars but ran out of honey...so we ended up with sort of a granola, oatmeal, crumbly mess.  Luckily, I had recently been sent a box of delicious Kashi Soft Baked Squares and we decided to try those out for an after school snack.  These did not disappoint!

Available in chocolate and almond varieties, Kashi Soft-Baked Squares combine cocoa, chocolate chunks and agave with sweet potatoes and black beans. The snacks are free of synthetic colors, artificial flavors, preservatives, sweeteners and high-fructose corn syrup.  They are a treat that I feel good about sharing with my family.  Moist, rich and chocolatey, these snacks are rich like a brownie but not super sweet.  This is a treat that my family took their time to eat - unlike some of the usual suspects that we seem to swallow in one bite.  These tasted more like a bakery treat and something that should be savored.  The extra health benefits of these "sweets" have me hooked, I'll most certainly be looking for these when I'm buying healthy, convienent treats.  The box includes five individually wrapped Kashi Squares so they are perfect when you are on the go and for school snacks and lunches.
