5 ingredient no bakes!

I know, another no bake recipe.
Yes.
We eat a lot of no bake treats around here.  We enjoy them and I love that they are simple, tasty and healthier than the usual stuff you can grab at the grocery store.

Through some experimenting last week, we came up with a five ingredient no bake bar or "clump" as the girls sometimes call them.  Five relatively inexpensive ingredients that equal smiles all around?  That's a recipe keeper!

2 cups quick oats
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
2 cups cheerios or another cereal of your choice
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
Simply combine sugar and honey over low heat, stirring occasionally.  Remove from heat and add your peanut butter.  Pour that mixture over your cereal (along with any other add ins you want...chocolate chips, dried cherries, cranberries, almonds...but that would mean 6 ingredients).  Form into bars and cut, roll into balls or clumps as my girls enjoy them.  Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
It doesn't get much easier or economical than this!  You'll notice that there are no photos of the finished product.  Like always, my camera battery died and by the time I recharged it, I forgot to photograph them and by the time I did....they were gone!  Yes, we certainly love these tasty treats!  These would make great treats at a Halloween party or to bring in for your child's school celebration.
