Autumn Bouquets: Before the Frost!

I'm sad to say that the very last of our plants and flowers were zapped this past weekend.  It is officially late Autumn in New Hampshire.  38 degrees as I'm writing this!  Last week, while we were still in the milder weather, I clipped the very last of my zinnias and scattered them throughout the house one last time.
I love how the deep, rich color reflects the season!  We will be enjoying these for a while longer and then onto bulb forcing, in time for the upcoming holiday season!  Hope everyone had a great weekend - I am slowly coming to terms with the fact that it's Monday again.  It's looking to be a hectic week with Halloween festivities and activities.  Looking forward to the next long weekend!

  3. They are so pretty! It is hard to say good bye to our blooms, isn't it? I didn't realize you were so far north, and in New Hampshire, for some reason I was thinking you were New Jersey! You must get quite a bit of snow then, I am guessing?!
