Sweetheart Peanut Butter Chocolate Pretzels

So, it's Valentine's Day!  Hope you're off to a great one!
We don't do anything major on this holiday.  I never have been "big" on Valentine's Day but certainly get it if you are.  It's so nice to celebrate and be celebrated...plus, any excuse for dinner and flowers is a plus in my book.  That being said, we'll be staying in tonight but still, I do like to do *something* to celebrate the day.  Of course, the girls were busy last weekend putting the finishing touches on their Valentine's (more on that Monday) and making cards for everyone, including our cats!  So, I figured it would be fitting to get my sweet on!  Of course, always lacking time these days (when are we not?) these treats are so easy you could whip them up in an hour or so.
Ingredients:
Pretzel sticks
1/2 cup white chocolate
1/2 cup Peanut Butter
Heart decorations
Directions:
  • Prepare your workspace by simply laying a cookie sheet lined with wax paper
  • In a medium bowl, slowly melt your white chocolate in microwave or over the stovetop
  • Start by dipping your pretzel stick in peanut butter and then immediately dip it in the white chocolate
  • Rotate the pretzel stick to create a swirl affect
  • Dip the end in a heart decoration and allow to harden
  • Repeat with the remaining pretzels
  • Once completely cooled, bundle and gift!
This is yet another variety of our beloved chocolate pretzel and just as tasty.  A little sweet and crunchy delight in every bite.  I mean, I couldn't make these without sampling a few zillion!

I hope you have a very Happy Valentine's Day!  And, if you are a dear friend celebrating a very special anniversary today (YOU know who YOU are - yes YOU) I hope it's fantastic!  You guys deserve a night, day, MONTH out on the town after these past crazy months.  That's what love is all about though - sticking in through the tough times, right?

Linking up today at the Domestic Superhero!

  1. I heard the magic words Pretzels, Chocolate and Peanut Butter and I was over here like a shot. I'd eat a few zillion too.

  2. It is so sweet that your girls made cards for the cats as well! I just love that. We don't normally do anything special on Valentine's Day either. Used to go out to eat, but got tired of braving the crowds! Your pretzel treats sound so good. Anything with chocolate and peanut butter - I'm in!

  4. Chocolate and pretzels is the best! We'll have to try it with peanut butter.
