Super Easy VERY Berry Smoothies for Spring!

This time of year we always start craving the tastes of Summer.  The girls are ready to get outside and enjoy some warmth, especially after the longer-than-normal Winter!  That's where these delicious fruit smoothies come in!  The perfect blend of delicious berries and almond milk!  This is one breakfast and snack my kids keep coming back for over and over again!  With school vacation upon us, I am ready to serve this up for friends and family by the pitcher!
Ingredients:
2 cups mixed berries (I used frozen organic blueberries, strawberries, blackberries and raspberries from Trader Joes)
2 cups almond milk (coconut, rice or any variety would work)
1 whole banana

Directions:
Pour milk into the blender and add your banana.  Blend until smooth (I find this first step makes the flavors even better!)
Add your berries one cup at a time and blend until smooth.
Pour in glasses and enjoy!
Seriously, it doesn't get much easier than this!  Some people enjoy a little sweeter taste and for that I would recommend adding a couple tablespoons of honey or maple syrup.  The possibilities are endless!

Hope you are off to a fantastic Monday!  I'm ready to have a great week and start eating better!

  2. I LOVE their organic berry mix - I have it in the freezer now - along with all the other ingredients to make these! (Ellia would even let me add spinach...although I couldn't get away with it for the other girls :) Thanks for the smoothie reminder, my friend! I need to get in the habit of making them more often!
