31 Days of Holiday: Easy Festive Halloween Goodie Jar

So excited for the second day of the 31 Days Challenge!  Let the fun begin!

If you're looking for a fun, easy and festive gift for the little goblin in your life, this is a great option!  I love to create and craft and don't think it's that important to start from scratch every. single. time.  Who has time for that people?!  I was pretty thrilled when I scored these leftover Mason inspired glasses at Michaels for 90% off.  I think being crafty is 50% creativity, you work with what you have!  When I saw these orange polka dots, I knew pumpkin faces were in order!

Items Needed:
  • The jar of your choice - Michaels Craft Store had these on clearance for 90% off and they had TONS of these and other varieties so run over there to see if you can still snag some!
  • Black and Green Paint Markers
  • Candy Corn or Harvest Mix
  • Filler
  • Ribbon
Directions:
Grab a black paint marker, get to work!
You'll want to fill the area with the orange polka dots with happy, spooky and silly faced pumpkins.  You can top the stems in green or stick with black, which is all I had
Place a little recycled filler on the bottom and top with an assorted fall mix of candy corn and pumpkins
Next, cut a circle of scrap fabric for the top of the jar
Finally, tie a coordinating bow and top with a mason jar lid
This makes a great little Halloween gift, or treat for the office.  So easy and so economical! For more of my 31 Days posts, visit my main directory page here!

  1. I think I will leave the filler out and just put all candy ;-) I could definitely use some candy corn in my life right now! And I will have to make a trip to Michaels...hmmm...90% off sounds like a great deal :-)

  3. I want to go shopping with you! I would love to have your imagination with me when I find that odd cool "thing" on sale, but I just don't know how I would ever use it!
