31 Days of Holiday: Fall Harvest Crowns

These simple Fall Harvest Crowns are fun and so easy to craft!  My kids love to play dress up and these are the perfect headbands for them to wear when they are apple picking, attending a Fall fest or raking leaves!
Items Needed
  • A couple cluster of silk flowers in the colors of you choice.  I used green and orange Fall inspired mums but anything goes!
  • Ribbon
  • Hot Glue
Directions
  1. Begin by clipping your flowers off the stems and ensure that the plastic backing is still intact.  By doing this you are ensuring your flowers will still have stability
  2. Measure your ribbon to ensure you allow for enough for your crown
  3. Begin by hot gluing your flowers as desired (make sure you use enough hot glue to make sure they remain intact!)
  4. Glue the remaining flowers to your ribbon or string and you may want to glue them side by side as well to ensure even more stability
  5. Your final step is to hot glue felt on the back
  6. Wear on your next hayride!

  2. What a festive idea your floral crowns are. My girls will have bun with them and they can be made for so many events. Thank you for sharing with the Clever Chicks Blog Hop! I hope you’ll join us again next week!
