31 Days of Holiday: Hot Apple Chai

I've been loving Chai tea lately! It's so warm and comforting as the weather gets chillier.  In my opinion, the perfect Fall tea! Rich and spicy, I have been consuming a lot lately so it just seems natural to talk about it with you guys! My husband, on the other hand doesn't love it quite as much as I do.  How can this be? What's not to love?!  I set off on a quest to make him a believer and this delicious Fall drink did just that!
The perfect mix of sweet and spicy, warm and comforting....delicious with a fresh apple or cider doughnut!  I introduce you to Autumn in a mug!
Ingredients

  • 1 cup brewed chai tea
  • 1 cup apple cider (I used Trader Joes Spicy Cider or regular works too!)
  • vanilla almond milk to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions

  1. Combine 1/2 cup chai tea with 1/2 cup apple cider
  2. Stir
  3. Top with vanilla almond milk and sprinkle with cinnamon
  4. Enjoy

Now sit and watch those leaves fall!  Are you a believer yet?

  1. I have to agree with your hubby on this one :-) I am not a big chai tea person. However, my mom makes a homemade chai spice blend which is actually really good...so maybe if I take her chai tea and add the apple cider it will be a new favorite :-) It looks delicious!

  2. I must try this!! With my new way of eating (dislike the term "diet"), I am trying to get away from so many cups of hot cocoa! I'll let you know how we like it!
