Blue Dragon Meals Feature and Giveaway #IC #BlueDragonMeals #sponsored

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Blue Dragon. I received product samples and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
Do you ever feel uninspired in the kitchen?  I think in these dogs days of Winter, it's easy to get into a recipe rut.  I tend to stick to easy meals that I know my family will love and this time of year, when we are still recovering from the holiday spending, I'm looking for economical and healthy options.  Around this time of year, we start wanting to go out to dinner a little more, just to go out and do something but it's pricey to go out with the kids and not always the most convenient.  Lately, my kids have been begging to go out for Thai food but we consider it a splurge.  Ordering takeout isn't always that convenient either as it can take too long when I'm facing two hungry kids!  I'm happy to report that with Blue Dragon Sauces it's easier to create a delicious Asian inspired meal that your whole family will enjoy.

Blue Dragon was created over thirty years ago when their founder realized there was hardly anything available in the shops that would help people create and authentic Asian dish at home.  Blue Dragon has become a great way to help people create these delcious dishes from China, Thailand, Japan and Vietnam. They offer a variety of stir fry sauces, condiments, noodles and wrappers!

Blue Dragon sauces were a hit!  My whole family LOVED their products and the meal we created!  It was definitely less salty than take out and we were in control of the amount of sauce we used.  The girls absolutely loved the soba noodles and I'm looking forward to making some fresh Spring Rolls as soon as I can!  The sauces are deliciously flavorful, I would recommend them if you are looking for something a little different to mix into the ho-hum dinner rotation!

General Tso Chicken and Asian Vegetable Stir Fry
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 lb. boneless and skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced mixed Asian vegetables (I used pea pods, carrots, water chesnuts and mushrooms)
  • 1 green onion, sliced on the diagonal
  • 1 red hot chili (Thai bird), sliced in rounds, seeds removed (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. minced ginger
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 tbsp. hoisin sauce
  • 1 sachet (3.4 fl. Oz/103 mL) Blue Dragon General Tao Stir Fry Sauce
  • Blue Dragon Medium Egg Noodles (2 nests) or Blue Dragon Japanese Soba Noodles (2 bundles)
  • 1 tbsp. toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large sauté pan set over high heat. Season chicken all over with salt. Add to pan and stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden and just cooked through. Transfer to plate.
  2. Add vegetables, green onion, red chili, garlic and ginger; stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until tender crisp. Add orange juice, hoisin, and Blue Dragon General Tao Stir Fry Sauce into the wok; return chicken to wok and cook until heated through.
  3. Serve with Blue Dragon Medium Egg Noodles or Blue Dragon Japanese Soba Noodles (I used Soba Noodles). Garnish with sesame seeds.
For extra kick, use Blue Dragon Szechuan Stir Fry Sauce!
