Back to Reality!

Just coming off of Labor Day weekend and a break here, we had a great one!  It was so nice to have some free time with both my girls and my hubby!  The weekend was spent hiking, exploring, playing and just enjoying the beautiful weather we were lucky enough to enjoy. It was 91 here yesterday and today is expected to reach 93!  That's almost unheard of for September in the Northeast!

We also released our butterflies this weekend, we like to hatch some every Summer.  It was the perfect way to end our weekend on a sweet note!  Luckily, we have a butterfly bush and they hung around to get a snack before flying off into the sunset (literally!)  The girls were also thrilled when one landed on them!
So, this week will be all about playing catch up and staying cool.  Easy, light dinners and snacks are on the menu.  We're also in full Back to School mode which means I tighten our budget a bit, in preparation for the upcoming holiday season.

Hope you had a wonderful holiday and are off to a great week!  Enjoy your Tuesday and I'll back soon!

Love the photo's... And LOVE that you raise butterflies! So wonderful. I am trying to help them out by letting milkweed grow.

  3. It was fun to raise butterflies and sad to let them go. Such a cool experience. Your Labor Day weekend sounded perfect. It was hot here too! We got away to the beach and Miss High School and I had a girls weekend because my hubby was away. Back to reality today!
