Felt Kitty DYI

Happy Monday my friends! I hope you had a fun and festive Halloween weekend! It was great seeing everybody's costumes, people really get into Halloween and it's so fun to see what they come up with! We had a fun time with a few friends over the house and celebrated with a lot of spooky, silly fun.
The craft we made at the party was a felt kitty. The girls loved putting their own spin on their cats. This was super easy, fun and versatile!  You could absolutely make a sweet kitty face as a gift or any animal really. Felt is easy to work with and I find that in a pinch, hot glue secures well.

We started off by making a cardboard stencil, I did this freehand - anything goes! Next, we layered two pieces of felt and cut out the shape. Then, we got glued the entire kitty's face with the exception of the top (we left that open for stuffing). Eyes, eyeballs, a nose, whiskers and stripes were cut for each kitty. The girls enjoyed putting a unique spin on their faces. We stuffed them, hot got glued the top and we're done!

This was a fun craft that the girls enjoyed! We ran out of time for our other craft but I'll share that soon, it's great for this time of year!
