I think a lot of people try to make the best choice when they fill their grocery carts. In general, I am committed to purchasing local when possible, organic and the best food possible for our family. This became quite important to me when I was pregnant with my first daughter, 12 years ago. I no longer was reaching for the quickest option instead, I was looking for nutritious foods, ones that were nutrient dense and would fuel our bodies. We've come a long way in these past years and I can say I feel good about the choices we make and pass along to our daughters. What is "Every Cart Counts"? This is a program where White Wave actually will buy shoppers carts of groceries around the country when they spot the participating items. The program looks to show their customers how their everyday earth friendly choices make big impacts on diet and the health of our planet!
What items should you fill your cart with you ask? Great items from Earthbound Farm, Silk, So Delicious, Simply Pure, Horizon and Vega!

Raspberry Chia Smoothie
Ingredients
1 cup Earthbound Farm frozen raspberries
1 cup Silk Almond Milk
1 ripe banana
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon local honey
Directions
Blend raspberries, almond milk, chia seeds, banana and honey with ice.
Serve and enjoy!
