Summertime and the Livin' Is Easy!

Here we are, July 11 and the summer is in full force. It's weird to me to think that my kids will have been out of school for less than three weeks. We've done a lot, it's been busy, fun, and relaxing. It's so great to step out of the normal school year routine. Summer is all about getting outside, doing some exploring, and re-connecting with nature.
Last week we managed to go strawberry and raspberry picking, head to the beach, visit our favorite horse barn and enjoy several long, lazy summer days. It's been a welcome break! After a rainy and cool weekend, we're bracing for temperatures to heat up once again. By the looks of it, it will hit 90° or higher for the better part of the week. That means more pool and beach time and keeping cool!

Game on!

What's ahead for you this week?

  4. Wow, your girls are growing up.
You are spending summer right on!!
    We went berry picking too.

This week my boys are in Ohio for National Trap competition. My husband called to say Ohio is getting some nasty weather. I do not like storms and I especially do not like them when we are not together.
