Canobie Lake Park Feature #ad #sponsored

*Please note, I did receive passes to visit the park but was not compensated in any other way for my review. All opinions, as always, are my own*
Do you like amusement parks? Tucked away in Salem, New Hampshire is Canobie Lake Park. Another great, family friendly place to visit if your looking for fun in the New England area! We've lived in New Hampshire now for over ten years and this was the very first trip we have taken to this amusement park. It was fun for the entire family and had something for everyone!

First up, a little history. Canobie Lake Park is one of America's oldest parks! You can read more about the park's history here. It was different than I expected, very clean, well landscaped and established foliage. It was a busy day but never made you feel claustrophobic or like it was out of control busy. The lines were managed well and since the park is well spread out, it never felt like it was too crowded.
Today, Canobie offers over 85 rides, games, live shows and attractions. That includes rides perfect for thrill seekers who would love UNTAMMED, The Yankee Cannonball, Corkscrew Coaster and Wipeout (just to name a few). I watched from the ground but the screams and smiles were heard and seen throughout the park. It also includes family friendly rides like the Antique Cars, Caterpillar, Antique Carousal, Twist and Shout and more. The park truly offers fun whatever your speed! They have a Water Park area full of fun water rides including the Boston Tea Party, that will help you cool off on a hot day and Castaway Island, an interactive water area for kids of all ages. The log flume was our favorite!
Cabobie Lake Park also offers plenty of fun games, live shows and fireworks every Saturday evening (weather permitting) at 9:30 PM.
There's still plenty of time left to enjoy Canobie Lake Park! Grab the family and head there for affordable family fun!

  5. Look like such a fun place. I think I would like a classic style more old fashioned park like this one more than some of the commercialized parks that I've been to lately.
