I wouldn't change it for a thing

"The stuff of our lives doesn't change.  It is we who change in relation to it" - Molly Vass
I love blogging, my little online journal.  What a fantastic way to channel those creative thoughts, meet new people, foster creativity and so much more.  I was thinking about what I wanted to accomplish through blogging recently and reflected on my years of blog posts.  I came across my old blog, Simplistic Girl, where I talked about being a mother, and raising my child (back that I only had one) on the coast of New England.  My consistant tgoal?  To be the best mother I could possibly be and the best person for my family and myself.  So much has changed but the common theme remains...

"This past year has certainly been a whirlwind, with no signs of slowing down. My focus, as always, remains the same....my family. Creating a peaceful, loving, happy, centered, educational, fun home and wonderful children. I'm so lucky to have the opportunity to stay home and raise these little ones and wouldn't change it for anything. Yes, daily life presents stuggles and many, many rewards." (July 2008)

Time moves on but these thoughts hold true.
