A Laurie Berkner Christmas Feature and Giveaway!

Music is a huge part of our lives and this time of year we seem to listen even more!  There is so much beautiful music to take in but over the past couple years I've searched for some new music that we could all enjoy as a family.  Really, how many renditions of Baby, It's Cold Outside can I endure?  I was thrilled when I discovered A Laurie Berkner Christmas I think you will love it!

We've listened to Laurie Berkner for years, ever since Riley was a wee one.  He fun tunes, thoughtful songs and silly verses have kept us listening over and over.  What I love about her new Christmas cd is that she mixes old songs that we've all heard before like "Jingle Bells" and "Frosty The Snowman" and introduces us to some wonderful new holiday tunes that are quickly becoming new favorites in my house.  The girls love "Santas Coming to My House Tonight", which is all about the feeling you have when you can't sleep because something amazing is going to happen the next day.  It's upbeat, fun and easy to sing along with.  They also enjoy the pretty melody of Cany Cane Jane" - different and new, the perfect addition to our tradional favorites.

I recommend A Laurie Berkner Christmas to anyone looking for fun, fresh and kid friendly tunes for their holiday.  I dare you to not sing along!  Laurie Berkner is joinmed by bandmates Susie Lampert, Adam Bernstein and Bob Golden as well as other musicians including Brady Rymer and one of our favorites, Elizabeth Mitchell.
