Grilled Peaches!

Always up for a delicious ending to our meal, we decided to try to grill our dessert.  I've seen so many recipes for grilled fruit, I had to give it a try - especially when I saw some fresh peaches at our market recently!

Fresh grilled peaches over quality vanilla ice cream or yogurt and strawberries, drizzled with balsamic vinegar and topped with mint?  Yes please!
  • One pint of quality vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
  • One pint of fresh strawberries
  • 4-5 fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
  • Handful of mint springs
  1. Slice and remove pits from peaches. Toss in a bowl with vanilla and set aside while grill heats up.
  2. Over medium heat, place peach slices on grill and cook for 2 minutes on each side. Turn until you get nice grill marks on each side.
  3. While cooking, place 1-2 scoops of vanilla ice cream in four bowls and allow to soften a bit.
  4. Top ice cream with freshly grilled peaches, sliced strawberries.
  5. Drizzle each bowl of ice cream with balsamic vinegar and top with mint.
This recipe is both unique and delicious!  When the weather is warmer, why not put your grill into overdrive!  This unique dessert is SO good!

  1. Oh, heavens....this looks so good! Gonna give it a go!!!!! Thanks!!!

  2. Yum! I love grilling pineapple, no other ingredients necessary.
