Dog Days: Homeade Treats!

We've reached the point of Summer where it's really hot and we've had a stretch of weather has been quite humid. I'm not complaining, living in New England I know it will be short-lived. That being said, who doesn't need a snack to cool off a bit? That even includes our favorite four legged friends! Our dog, Tippy enjoys these yummy Frozen Treats on hot Summer days!
Ingredients
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 small container plain Greek yogurt
Directions
  • Combine all ingredients until thoroughly blended.
  • Pour into cups/ice cube trays
  • Insert a dog bone "handle" if desired
*On a side note, my dear friend gave me these amazing trays from Pampered Chef to freeze herbs! They are amazing, I use them all the time! They are also the perfect size for freezing these treats, and making your own Bento Ball insert (we have the standard size). So, when you are done freezing your treats, simply pop them out and put your insert inside of your bento for your furry friends!*

Tippy loves these treats and they are healthy and delicious on a hot Summer day! Easy too!

  1. Oh my...I bet Tippy loves them! My Rusty is having quite the issues right now, and having severe problems with appetite and getting him to eat. I am going to make these for him!
