Presto Pesto

Inspired my one of my daily reads, Into Ablivia, I decided to use up some of our basil plants and make some pesto!  The result was pretty yummy and the girls loved it, fresh on crackers!  I was able to get a couple of jars for the Winter but it's doubtful that it will last that long.
Definitely a hit around here!

  2. Thanks for the shout out. I made more pesto with the purple basil I got last week and total bummer- it was not a pretty purple like I had thought. More of a brown color. oh well, it will taste good!

  3. Thanks for giving me the idea to make a bunch for winter before the plants freeze! I love making my own pesto. It is easy, and so good! It is hard to go wrong with it.
