Ginger Sesame Coleslaw (Easy Picnic Recipes)

I love when the weather slowly starts getting warmer and it's time for more picnics and outdoor adventures!  That - of course, calls for more grilling and entertaining!  I love this mayo-less coleslaw recipe because it's flavorful and different, which is nice when you plan a Summer full of easy picnic foods!  It's nice to switch it up once and a while.  Paired with a delicious salad or burger - this will satisfy the most seasoned coleslaw eater!  I almost love this one as much as the chipotle coleslaw recipe I featured years ago...almost!

Ingredients:
2 cups shredded cabbage
1 shredded carrot
2 diced green onions
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
juice of 1/2 lime
2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
1 teaspoon honey
1 tablespoon grade ginger
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper (optional)
1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Directions:
1. Mix the cabbage, carrot and green onion in a large bowl.
2. Mix the vinegar, lime juice, oil, sesame oil, honey, ginger and crushed red pepper in a small bowl.
3. Toss the salad in the dressing and garnish with sesame seeds.

Enjoy!
