Write on!
Someone near and dear recently told me that she liked my blog but thought I should write more. So, I stewed about it and decided that I wasn't really sure what I should write about. I sort of feel like I write everyday, or at least try to say something witty or silly. Then I realized that I have a lot to say but have some other things that take me away from the blogging world. Some of these reasons include:
- I hear "Mama" about a zillion times a day and it makes it tricky to have a train of thought for more than oh, one minute.
- That darn phone...it keeps ringing
- Those darn dishes....yes, I have a dishwasher but no "dish-put-away-er"
- Piles of laundry
- These other amazing blogs that I get sucked into reading
- Gardening - ok, I mean, thoughts of gardening
- I have A LOT of lists
- The Paper Stork
- Barefoot By the Sea
- Oh, and I write here and there for the Seacoast Kid's Calendar, check it out here.
- Lastly, the very most important time (giggle time, play time, silly time, plain old kiddo time!)
That pretty much sums it up. I'll try to write more thought provoking, interesting tid bits but for now, I'll keep on posting pics of the girls, recipes and giveaways.
i think you write a lot and for me...i like a quick read. i don't have time to read a lot of wordy blog post, because i hear 'mommy' too!
ReplyDeleteso keep doing what your doing, i love it!
I love what you post... I follow over 500 blogs (yes, I am a sicko but need to for Frost Me!). I love reading yours everyday - but adding more, I think would take away from being quick reads. Keep doing what you are doing - love your quick posts - and those other things are FAR more important in life! ...and if you find a dish-put-away-er - hook a sista up with a phone number! lol

Kim @ Frost Me!
I do love hearing all the little details of life...from the kids stealing your camera to your coupons flying all over the parking lot. It reminds the rest of us that we're among our own! :)
ReplyDeleteI really love your blog. I like it just the way it is! And, I LOVE this post especially--it's a good reminder of where blogs might need to be on our list of priorities--well, at least mine! THANK YOU!
