Soccer girl

Last week, Riley attended soccer camp.  According to my husband, "it is the week that I look forward to the most every Summer".  He just loves to sit back and watch her play, interact with her friends and learn all about the game.  I, on the other hand, have never understood the fascination with sitting on a field in 90 degree weather. 

Sydney and I decided to tag along one day and realized where he was coming from. What a great way to spend the morning together as a family.  So, we went the next day and the last day.  No computer, no phone and no distractions.  I think know I need more of that.  Somedays when we are at home or running around doing errands I neglect to really "take it all in" and this camp allowed me to just sit back, relax and enjoy my children.  

I'll remember these days fondly, these days are what sweet memories are made of.
