Babo Botanicals Feature and Giveaway
"What goes on children's bodies should be as natural as what goes into their mouths."
- Kate Solomon
Babo Botanicals is an environmentally responsible company that specializes in natural skin care for babies and children. The founder, Kate Solomon felt that the choice of baby skincare items out there were very slim and when reading the ingredients, found a lot of chemicals that "didn't truly address our children's particular hair and skin problems". After having years of experience with companies including Avon, L'Oreal and Parfums Givenchy, she decided to develop a product line that she truly believed in. Then, Babo Botanicals was born!
With an extensive line of hair, scalp and body care, Babo Botanicals collection is made entirely on a certified organic farm. What's NOT in Babo? The bad stuff, read more about that here.
Babo Botanicals sells Shampoos and Washes, Leave in Conditioners, Lotions, Soaps and gifts sets that are PERFECT for babies, children and their families.
With scents including cucumber aloe vera for swim and sport, berry primrose for smoothing and detangling and rosemary tea tree for lice repelling, each product is specifically formulated for a specific purpose.
Babo Botanticals was kind enough to send us over a set of Rosemary Tea Tree Shampoo and Conditioner. The little bunny on the front made us smile right away. The scent is light and refreshing and given it's purpose (95% lice repelling) did not have any of the usual medical or chemical scents. Nobody likes to talk about lice but I certainly don't want my kid to catch it and from what I understand, they love to jump (yikes!) This product is the top clinically proven formula on the market to repel 95% of lice when used in combination with the conditioning spray. It is non irriatating for daily use and appropriate for the entire family!
The Rosemary Tea Tree Lice Repel Shampoo purifies, smooths and softens hair and scalp
The Rosemary Tea Tree Conditioning Spray, like the shampoo is certified organic
We were impressed with the scent and what a good job it did getting our hair squeaky clean. I think we'll be happily switching to our new natural shampoo when school starts again, better safe than sorry when it comes to head lice.
