An old fashioned harvest festival
I love this time of year, it seems like when the weather cools down and the harvest arrives, there is so much to do around here. This past weekend, we had a chance to go to a harvest festival and the girls loved it. It was fun to relax and just be outside, listen to some live music, take in a hayride and visit some animals. What a great weekend!
I was fascinated by these wool nesting balls for the birdies. In the Fall and Winter, they pull pieces of wool and use it for their nests. Along the same lines, I found a little tutorial for bird nests here. I figured it would be a crafty project for us to attempt....I know, add this one to the long list of others! A girl can dream, can't she?
jessica! you are so funny! i love these bird nests:)
