Ashlee's Boutique Feature and Giveaway
I first heard of this Ashlee's Boutique one morning when reading one of my "go to" blogs, Hiya Luv (Gina is super sweet and runs her own etsy shop, Hiya Luv Handmade). I was sold the
Ashlee makes all sorts of pretties!
A little more about the shop owner, Ashlee!
Meet her: She is an Etsy fanatic, 4-month newlywed, cat lover, continuous craft dreamer and retail feen. Her sewing machine is named Big Bertha, she considers her a member of her family.
Where she gets her Inspiration: "All of my crafts are a testament to my life: wedding (7-29-10), cooking (I went through one of those phases), baby (not mine, a niece), home (or apt)! I find inspiration daily, and quite frankly cannot stop creating. I catch myself inspecting people's stitches in their jacket in line at Starbucks, which may be a bit creepy I admit :) I frequent adorable retail stores, cute DIY sites and crafter's Heaven--JoAnn's Fabric Store."

She gets her Ideas: "My ideas just have to be unique, eclectic or shabby chic. I want to create things that you cannot find everywhere. All of my pieces are made with care. If I ever get frustrated with a project, I step away and come back when I can put love into every single stitch! I am thrilled to know that my creations will be a part of someone's life."

I absolutely love Ashlee’s Boutique. Her ideas are very creative and adorable. I was looking for a holiday stocking for my dog and the paw print stocking would be perfect on the mantel next to the other red and white stockings. (denisenmeyer@gmail.com)

ReplyDeleteAs far as setting a budget for Christmas shopping and sticking to it, I would have to say probably not. I try to write down what I am buy for each person so that I do not get side tracked while shopping, however there is always such good deals that its hard to stay on budget. (denisenmeyer@gmail.com)
