Cool Tricks Feature and Giveaway
Cool Tricks, my sponsor, offers an array of holiday gift options including baby bibs, potholder sets, ornaments, quilts and most importantly, toys! I'm always searching for unconventional gifts, something special and different. Cool Tricks offers just that and the opportunity to purchase something handmade and one of a kind. Isn't it more attractive to purchase something from an artisan than a big box store? Food for thought.

my favorite holiday tradition is spending time with family at my grandparents house on christmas eve! my grandpa always dresses up as santa clause and all the grandkids go upstairs while my grandparents put all the presents under the tree. Then santa yells ho ho ho and once he is done putting all the presents under the tree and eating his cookies that the kids left out for him, all the kiddos run down stairs and see all the presents and squeal with glee! I used to do this as a child; now I just watch as the great grandchildren partake in the fun. :)gina

My fave holiday tradition is making peppernuts (a teeny tiny German cookie that my family makes by the dozen in early December and enjoys with coffee - or milk! The dough needs to refrigerate for a full day, then my Mom would cut up pieces and my dad, brother, and myself roll them into balls and place them on the cookie sheets for baking. It takes a half day, at least, to do, but it's so worth it!
