Giddyup....Cowgirl Chocolates Review and Giveaway
A couple of weeks ago I received a box of assorted Cowgirl Chocolates. Right away I knew that my New Year's resolution was about to bite the dust. They arrived in a pretty little red box, adorned with a simple star and black ribbon closure. Little did I know what I was in for....
I opened the box to find an assortment of truffles, accompanied by a list to identify the variety. Each were wrapped in a shiny foil, they were festive and fun! Yes, I had already sampled a couple when I snapped this picture.
On the very top, was an innocent looking caramel. I immediately wanted to test it out. Like I said, it looked innocent. This HABANERO Caramel is not for the weak. It was sweet at first and then slowly but with intensity, the hotness arrived. This caramel is HOT and I loved every minute of it. A caramel for grown ups, if you will....it's got one heck of a kick but if you love hot stuff, you won't be disappointed!
Over the next couple of weeks, my "helper" and I sampled the various treats in this box including the spicy truffles....Raspberry Dark Chocolate, Double Dark, Hazelnut Milk Chocolate and Cappuccino. Each of these spicy truffles had a kick that ranged from a mild heat to a hotter than heck heat. Different and delicious, these don't disappoint. You don't pump 'em down, they are more enjoyable than that.
The next truffles in the pack, the mild chocolates, had a nice variety of different flavors that made them more unique and exciting. These included the double dark chocolate, the milk, ivory orange (delish!) and the raspberry lemon.
Cowgirl Chocolates, out of Idaho, specialize in chocolates, cocoa, chocolate bars and have great gift ideas. Cowgirl Chocolates is giving away an assortment of their fabulous truffles to one lucky reader! Yeeeehah!!!!
