Petal Backpack
Every morning, Riley leaves for school and Sydney begs for her backpack to pretend she's going off for the day, instead of into the playroom. Yesterday, she insisted she needed a flower backpack....so I checked out the internet and found this adorable DIY petal backpack. How could I resist? I absolutely love the yellow backpack featured on UCreate from JCREW.
The tutorial was super easy and literally cost about $3 to make. Next time, I'm going to try to use some cut fabric flower petals so they are less stiff.
I purchased a simple backpack from the Dollar Store and a pack of petals from the wedding section. They only had white so I used some leftover pink dye to obtain some light pink petals. Then, I hot glued each petal on and tried to "fluff" them up a little.
Clearly, the girls were off to a busy day!
How adorable! What a great give idea! thanks.
