Iced Tiramisu Coffee

Let me start by saying, this isn't a drink you want to have everyday.  But, if you are looking for an indulgence, this is amazing.  I was pretty surprised by the results of this recipe and if calories were out the window, might opt to have it a few times a week.  For now, it will be an occasional treat but it tastes like a dream.
Iced Tiramisu Coffee
1 shot espresso, cooled or substitute two cups quality iced coffee
1 scoop good quality Vanilla Ice Cream or Fresh Whipped Cream (I used Ciao Bella Vanilla)
1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
Amaretto (optional)
Ice Cubes
Make your espresso and set aside to cool or pour your ice coffee in a large glass. In a cocktail shaker, add ice cubes and pour over espresso. Add a small splash of amaretto if desired. Then, add one scoop soft ice cream and shake quickly, until frothy (I did this for a while). Strain into a large glass and top with a sprinkling of unsweetened cocoa powder.

My husband was shocked on how good this tasted so much that we entered it into the Roaste contest.  If you try it and like it, I would love your vote!  The winner gets an iced coffee machine and for all my local buddies... I deliver ;)  First you'd have to "like" Roaste.com on facebook and then like my recipe for Iced Tiramisu here.   Such a good indulgence on a hot Summer Day!
