Simple Times

Do you ever feel like life is just getting too busy?  Too complicated?  Too insane?  I feel like that a lot sometimes.  I find myself wanting to disconnect, spend more time with my family and just reconnect with myself.  This week, we took a trip to one of the little farms in our area and had the nicest morning.  The girls were busy playing and feeding the animals.  It was a beautiful day and we didn't rush, we didn't have anything in particular to do...it was all about being outside, learning, watching and observing.  We ended our trip by visiting the little country store and having a snack.  It was a perfect day.  So perfect that we are going to make it a weekly event.  A great way to celebrate Summer for a morning or a day!
