Cape Cod!
We've been going to Cape Cod every year since Riley was born. We missed last year, since Riley was in the hospital. It made this year a little more special. They were SO excited and, at 3, it is the first year that Sydney really enjoyed it too (and so much easier not to have to dig out sand from a wee one.
This shot is at Lighthouse Beach in Chatham. We found out later that day that there were great white sightings that day. Luckily, we stayed out of the water. Is it just me or am I the only one who avoids going in when there is a string of seals sunbathing on the rocks? Here, Riley takes in the beautiful view...
We played in the sand instead and it was the perfect beach day!
Walking on the Cape Cod canal, this was the first year Riley was determined to walk the entire way (from our cottage 4 miles!) and she accomplished her goal!
Sydney opted to walk and ride in style, waving to the boats on their way by!
First Encounter Beach, our favorite! At low tide, you could walk out for miles!
And our adventurous little swimmer took full advantage of the ocean and all it's wonders!
By the end of the day, they were both down for the count!
A little more on our adventures coming soon. We had a wonderful day exploring the Green Briar Nature Center in Sandwich and the adorable town of Wood's Hole! Stay tuned!
Sounds like an amazing time! Glad you guys were able to go this year :-)
