Mangiacotti Feature and Giveaway! EXTENDED!
About a year ago, I discovered Mangiacotti, a beautiful line of products that include candles, soaps, room sprays, cleaners, lotions. These earth friendly products are unique, beautiful and make lovely gifts. We were lucky enough to receive samples of their newest product, their new Waterless Handwash, to try out.
First, we love the packaging - pretty and whimsical! It's available in four scents:
Easy to use, this waterless handwash is not like your usual hand sanitizer that's full of alcohol and essentially strips your hands of it's oils. Last Summer, when Riley was in the hospital, we all ended up with horribly damaged hands from their santitzers. This, is like a completely different product!Developed by Mangiacotti's founder, Michele, this waterless handwash was made keeping her own children in mind. She wanted to create a product that would actually help nourish your hands and not dry them out. This waterless wash is a plant derived formula made with essential oil and aloe vera. It will eliminate 99.9% of germs but will also keep your hands soft and smooth. I was sold but my littlest critics had to try it for themselves....
Easy for Riley (age 7) and Sydney (age 3) to use, a little dab went on easily and saturated their hands...
rubbed in with ease and dried quickly...
most importantly (according to my testers) it smelled wonderful.
Riley's favorite is the Ginger Lime, unique and subtle, it left a fresh smell for hours.
Sydney loved the scent of the Lavender and Ocean too!
These are perfect for the upcoming school year and won't disappoint. I was looking for a new "go to" hand sanitizer and am happy to use this waterless wash which won't leave our hands red and raw, but smooth and smelling fresh.
Mangiacotti is available in many fine retailers, you can find a store close to you here. No store in your area? You can place an order here
Mangiacotti has been kind enough to offer two bottles of their waterless handwash to THREE different winners!

Good luck to everybody!
I guess my favorite would have to be the waterless hand wash you featured (I teach piano lessons, and using sanitizer between each student is yucky.) Or the Shea Butter Lotion. I get very dry skin in the winter, and it's sensitive too. Thanks for introducing me to a lovely company.

ReplyDeleteI have heard of them before. I want to try all of their bath time products for kids. My daughter has. Extremely sensitive skin, so I am curious how this product would react with her.

ReplyDeleteFor some reason, I couldn't see any of the products in their shop...but I Lemon Verbena waterless hand wash would be my fave!
ReplyDeleteecarian at yahoo dot com
And I signed up for their newsletter because maybe I can see their products on my husband's laptop later (my computer has been having a lot of trouble showing images for some reason today).
ReplyDeleteAlso...I added this giveaway to my Easy Wins list at http://barefootbysea.blogspot.com/2011/08/hair-accessories-and-blog-love.html
If any of your other giveaways are still under 60 comments when they have less than 5 days to go, then I'll be happy to post them too. I would have posted your "Letter 4 Headband Giveaways" but on your sidebar you say it ends Sept 7th but on the post it say it ends the 10th, so I'd need to know which one before I could post it. :-)
I would definitely want to try the waterless handwash (Though their bath stuff is tempting, too). The cute pictures of your kids sold me!
ReplyDeleteOhh....I'd love to try the surface cleaner too...maybe in Pomegranate. Sounds nice!!! joleehamlin [at] comcast [dot] net
