Chocolate Banana Bread
We love banana bread around here and seem to consume it at least a couple of times a month. When trying to figure out a dessert the other day, I wanted to still make something semi healthy so I decided to give Chocolate Banana Bread a try! It did not disappoint!
Chocolate Banana Bread
1 Cup All Purpose Flour
1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
1/3 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 Tsp Baking Soda
1 Tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Canola or Vegetable Oil
2 Eggs, whisked
3 Banana, mashed
1/2 Cup Honey
1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
1/3 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 Tsp Baking Soda
1 Tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Canola or Vegetable Oil
2 Eggs, whisked
3 Banana, mashed
1/2 Cup Honey
1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
2. In a bowl, combine the first 6 dry ingredients.
3. In a separate large bowl, beat the vanilla, oil, eggs, bananas and honey until combined.
4. Slowly combine the dry ingredients into the wet
5. Pour the batter into your loaf pans.
6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
7. Cool for 10 minutes, then remove bread from the pan and cool completely.
8. Serve.
