Pom Pom Pencil Jar (Kids Crafts)

As soon as our school gets rolling, we tend to collect more pencils and erasers around the house. To help with our organization and sanity, I always like to have a few extra pencil jars handy so that the girls can keep their things organized. This Pom Pom container makes a cute pencil holder for you kids, favorite teacher or a lovely little vase for those end of Summer flowers!

Materials Needed:
  • Pom poms in assorted colors
  • One jar
  • glue gun
Instructions:
  1. Start by getting your pom poms ready and figuring out your color scheme or pattern.
  2. Make sure your jar is clean and dry
  3. Starting at your base, apply glue to each individual pom pom and work your way around and then up, filling in the holes until your entire container is full of pom poms
  4. Let dry for 24 hours
  5. Fill with the contents of your choosing – pencils, candy, flowers, anything goes!

  1. How cute! I really love pom poms. One time I made a table setting with some pom poms down the center of the table! They are just so fun to play with! :)
