SIX!

Last week was our first official week of Summer vacation and it was a busy one!  We had two sleepovers, went away for a couple nights and most importantly, celebrated my daughter's 6th birthday.  This year, we decided to keep it simple with a trip to one of her favorite parks, Storyland and her FROZEN birthday cake! 

Sydney didn't have many requests this year, other than a Lego Friends set and her birthday cake.  Luckily, I was able to score a frozen book with playmat at TJMaxx for $7.99!  The figures are small and perfect to top a birthday cake!  I'm pretty sure I did a happy dance when I found it since it's pretty much like striking gold these days if you're lucky enough to find any Frozen merchandise!  She was thrilled with the result and there isn't anything quite like making the birthday girl happy!  We had a great celebratory long weekend and made the most of our family time.  These milestones make me wish time would just slow down - it's too quick these days.  So hard to believe my youngest is SIX and will start 1st Grade in the Fall! 

As always, I'm reminded to soak it all in, these days will be gone in a blink.  Six years wasn't that long ago and here we are.  My little Sydney has grown into a fiesty, smart, imaginative and sweet girl.  Her determination and creativity amaze me on a daily basis.  I am so blessed I get to be her Mom!
