Peep S'more Kits!
We love Easter around here, it's so fun to put together baskets and decorate, not to mention the egg hunt. This year, we're looking forward to an outdoor egg hunt (or it may be a "mud hunt" around here). What do you put in your kiddo's baskets? This year, like many years, we're putting some of the usual stuff, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, Annie's bunny crackers, glittery crayons, a coloring book and a book or a movie. I love that it's such a simple holiday, focused on family and celebrating.
This is a fun and festive treat for Easter! These Peep S'more Kits are very simple and no, not healthy but I'm OK with that once and a while. Who actually eats the Peeps anyway?
Ingredients -
Next, I repeated with the others and once finished, placed in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes for the chocolate to solidify.
Finally, place each in bag, tie with ribbon and label. I also included one chocolate egg in each.
I thought they would also make adorable table treats and hidden among the eggs during a neighborhood egg hunt!

Ingredients -
- A pack of graham crackers
- Assorted Bunny or Chickie Peeps (we used the smaller bunny peeps because they contain a little less sugar or you could make your own like I blogged about here).
- Chocolate - milk, semi-sweet, white or dark
- Little bags
- Ribbon/cardstock/label

ME! I eat the peeps - I love them :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't care for Peeps but I think they're so cute! What a fun idea!! I'm not sure what's going in the Easter baskets this year...should be interesting. We used to add flip flops, sunglasses, flower seeds, swim goggles..just a few of the things. Fruit Loop necklaces were a big hit too.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of flower seeds - definetely a sign that Spring is on the way :)
DeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteWe got the boys LEGO's for the Easter hunt this year. :-)
I like your idea with the Peeps, very cute.
I am going to take a few days off from blogging. I wanted to stop in and say Happy Easter.

Adorable! My husband loves Peeps! But... he likes them stale? How weird is that?! Lol.. I might have to make him some of your Smore's, he would love them!
ReplyDeleteToo funny! At least you'll have an expensive treat all Summer long ;)
DeleteAs far as the last comment, I have heard so many people say that that is how they like them! I may have to try them stale just to see what all the hype is about. These little treats are so cute by the way.
