Big 'Ol Blueberry Hand Pie (Easy desserts)
Sometimes you just need a treat! Last week we were on the go constantly. I can't remember a time before when we were so busy. Between after-school activities and the regular hustle and bustle of the week, we were on the go nonstop! After we made it through, it was clear a bit of a celebration was in order. I decided to whip up a super easy, giant hand pie and slice it into pieces. (Insert Applause!) This couldn't be simpler after a complicated week!

Directions
This was yummy and just enough to be celebration worthy but not time consuming! A special dessert doesn't always have to be a labor of love! Sometimes, a treat can simply allow you more time with the ones you love!
Ingredients
- Immaculate Baking Company's all-natural pie crust
- Stonewall Kitchens Wild Blueberry Jam
Directions
- On lightly floured surface, roll out your crust
- Spread an even layer of Stonewall Kitchen's Wild Blueberry Jam on half of the crust and folded it over.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes of baking time or until golden brown.
- After cooling, slice it into 8-10 pieces.

DeleteI have to remember this! You probably won't believe this, but my husband is very spoiled when it comes to having desserts ready and waiting. Sometimes though... I just don't have time! This is perfect for those times! He will be thrilled, and not have to know how simple it was :)
ReplyDeleteI like having a few options when we can - nothing too complicated. This is great when you get unexpected visitors too :)
DeleteI would have expected this to be extremely complicated, but that is nice to know that it's simple and it look delicious too!
ReplyDeleteSometimes a few shortcuts are worth it if it means more family time :)
