Salted Peanut Butter Cookies (Easy Recipes)

Hello! I hope everyone had a good weekend. We got a lot done, which always feels good. We were busy deep cleaning the places I avoid including pulling the refrigerator, stove, washer and dryer out from the walls and vacuuming the dust bunny families who lived there and washing the floors. We're in the process of getting the house de-cluttered and cleaned for the holidays. Hard to believe Thanksgiving is only a little over a week away. Yesterday it was a balmy 60 degrees or so and it felt like the perfect time to rake and winterize the house too.

Naturally, we were ready for a home cooked dinner and a treat by the end of the day. I decided to try out a recipe for easy, no refined sugar/flour cookies and they were as good as they looked! SO SO EASY too!
Salted Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients:

  • 1 cup peanut butter cookies
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • sea salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper
  3. Drop tablespoon sized cookies on sheet
  4. Bake on cookies for 10 minutes and flatten with back of fork, sprinkle with sea salt (they will still be soft at this point)
  5. Let sit for 10 minutes until set and cooled
  6. Enjoy!

These are so delicious and so easy! I love the salty peanut buttery taste!

  4. Can you send some of your energy? I really need to do that in depth cleaning, but it just isn't happening yet!
Your cookies sound delicious! I am normally stingy with the maple syrup, but need to try these :)

  5. Hi,
We did the same ... but outside. We are also "batten down the hatches" we all know that cold North wind will blow soon. ;-)
Thank you for the recipe. :-)
