Apple Peach Delight :)
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We spent ours outside in some lovely Fall weather, perfect for apple picking, a celebration with my Mom for my birthday (I'm officially not counting years after this one) and a trip to the park! Yesterday, I decided to make some easy crockpot applesauce which the girls ate warm and by the bowlful. It is such an easy dessert option! I discovered an even more decadent way to eat this....and will share my "secret" with my hubby this evening...
First, take a scoop of applesauce, I used about three tablespoons? Then top it with 2-3 more tablespoons of Chobani Peach Greek Yogurt. I'm telling you, I was in absolute heaven eating this treat. I may forgo dinner all together some night this week in favor of this. The flavors of peach and apple blended perfectly, topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon. I'd like to experiment with other flavors, including honey, vanilla and their apple cinnamon!

Hoping to get back to apple picking this week, this time picking a bushel or two, one to store for eating this Winter and one for canning applesauce or making apple crisp! Nothing quite screams Fall then a warm home full of laughter and some apples on the stove....
Happy Monday!
Yum! This sounds great! I make yogurt for the kids, and was thinking about putting apple butter in it...but this seems a little better sugar wise :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's really delicious and so easy! The apple butter sounds yummy too!
